At 5 Points to Freedom, we help individuals reconnect with their emotional balance through the gentle, empowering practice of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)—also known as "tapping".

Our name carries both symbolism and purpose: in Scrabble, TAP is worth 5 points, the number  5 represents freedom—the very essence of what we aim to help you achieve the feeling of freedom. Through guided tapping sessions, we work with the body’s natural energy system to release emotional blocks, calm the mind, and create space for peace and clarity.

EFT is a simple yet powerful tool that blends mindfulness, psychology, and acupressure to ease stress, fear, and limiting beliefs. Each tap is a step toward letting go of what no longer serves you and moving toward a life rooted in freedom, balance, and emotional well-being.

EFT, or Emotional Freedom Techniques, is a gentle yet powerful method designed to help release stress, anxiety, and emotional blockages that hold us back from feeling balanced and at peace. Often referred to as “tapping,” this process involves lightly tapping on specific acupressure points on the body while focusing on particular emotions or thoughts.

By combining elements of modern psychology with the ancient wisdom of energy meridians, EFT works to calm the nervous system, rewire emotional responses, and restore inner harmony. It’s an approachable tool that anyone can learn, and offers a sense of freedom, clarity, and peace in daily life. Whether used for emotional healing, stress relief, or personal growth, EFT empowers you to take an active role in your well-being.

About Your Practitoner Catharine Boynton

Catharine's life passion has always been centered around self-empowerment and emotional and mental healing. With that focus, she has explored many avenues of learning to expand her knowledge and skills so she can support both herself and others on their healing journeys.

Catharine was introduced to Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT or Tapping) in 2019. Although she had practiced various modalities, none offered the same depth of transformation she experienced with EFT. After years of working with a practitioner and witnessing the profound, life-changing impact it had on her own growth, she became certified to guide others through the tapping process.

Now, with proven results and heartfelt dedication, Catharine shares her expertise with those who are ready to heal, grow, and reclaim their freedom.

1:1 Sessions (1-1 1/2 Hours)

Each 1:1 EFT session is a safe space just for you. We’ll explore what’s on your heart and gently tap through emotions or patterns that feel heavy. By the end of the session most people feel lighter, calmer and more connected with themselves.

Group Sessions

Is a guided experience where participants learn how to release stress, anxiety, or emotional blocks through gentle tapping specific acupressure points. You’ll follow along as
we tap together, helping calm the body and mind while promoting relaxation and emotional balance.

Package Sessions

It is recommended that sessions be booked as a package in order to get the most out of your EFT. The following is an example of our Introduction package:

This package offers a gentle and supportive journey to help release emotional blocks and old patterns that keep you feeling stuck. You will receive a series of personalized sessions designed to guide you toward more peace, clarity and emotional freedom. Perfect if you are ready to feel lighter and calmer and more connected with yourself.
Includes:
- 3 Private EFT sessions ( zoom or in person)
- Email or text support between sessions
